- I actually started out knitting, was taught by my grandma when I was 8. That quickly died down and I restarted knitting about 5 years ago. I decided I wanted to learn to crochet and after half hearted attempts at self teaching for a year, I finally got serious about it. Now it's all I do instead of knitting. It's much easier on the carpal tunnel and quicker.
I loved making baby things for my niece (since mine are all "grown" 9, 11, and 14. She's almost 2 now and I still loved making those little things so I decided to sell on Etsy.

Fall/Winter crochet
Last week I decided it was time to start the fall/winter crocheting. It had gotten rather nippy at night and after mourning the loss of summer, decided it was time. Now, it's been upper 80s for a week, figures. Maybe if I keep doing winter stuff, it'll stay warm all year round, yea, right.
